The Michelin Guide's review
Built in the 1930s, the 7-acre City Park Rose Garden was reborn as the New Orleans Botanical Garden in the 1980s after many years of neglect. It is the result of collaboration between local architect Richard Koch, landscape artist William Wiedorn, and sculptor Enrique Alferez, fourteen of whose works adorn the garden's paths. It is renowned for its striking collections of begonias, ferns and bromeliads.
