Occupying the fine town hall (16C), this museum charts the history of Mulhouse and its region over the past 6 000 years, with a layout that is in keeping with the building. An 18C walkway provides access to the Grenier d'Abondance (Grain Store), where an impressive collection of toys is on display. The gallery of folk art explores everyday life since the 18C, and features traditional interiors and the living rooms of bourgeois houses.
