The Michelin Guide's review
Erected in 1932, this Gothic cathedral-like edifice is home to the Black Watch (Royal Highland) Regiment of Canada. Constructed of steel and reinforced concrete sheathed in Indiana limestone, the Presbyterian church features an immense stained-glass window above the main altar, commemorating the victims of World War I. The first two windows in the left nave were designed by Edwin Burne-Jones of the William Morris Studio, an early practitioner of the Arts and Crafts style.
