Costa de Muerte
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Between Malpica de Bergantiños and Muros lies a wild coastline distinguished by austere, majestic scenery. It owes its unwelcoming name (Coast of Death) to the countless wrecks which have occurred on its gale-lashed shores. Melancholy aside, its scenery is a contrasting one of steep cliffs and long sandy beaches. There is a fine view from Cape Finisterre, Spain's westernmost point.
