The Michelin Guide's review
The name of this street refers to the discovery by a draper in a vineyard of a bronze tablet engraved with the speech made by Emperor Claudius in favour of the Gauls in front of the Roman Senate in 48. Today the tablet is displayed at the Lugdunum - Museum and Roman theatres.
