The Michelin Guide's review
The cathedral's thin spires and choir stalls date from the 20C but the building itself is an old Jesuit church dating from the 17C. Although a Gothic style dominates the cathedral, there are several Renaissance and Baroque elements such as the carvings on the northern doorway and the gallery situated above the main entrance. The three naves are the same height and are a good example of hall church design. Notice to the left of the nave the gallery reserved for the grand ducal family.
