Lovina Beach

The Michelin Guide's review
The little villages of Bali's north coast have expanded and merged to form one long resort: Lovina. On its shady beach, a long strip of dark sand lapped by a calm sea, lies a colourful selection of jukung craft, awaiting the dawn to return to the water. Fishermen mend their nets, while their chidren frolic in the sea. Wandering among the little lanes linking the road to the beach will produce some surprises; an animated game of billiards, or perhaps traditional musical instruments being played.
