The Michelin Guide's review
Greenwich Park extends over nearly 90ha. The Observatory stands on a hill that rises 52m above the river. Visitors get to see Flamsteed House, with its octagonal hall restored and returned to its original condition, and the Meridian Building, which houses the Observatory's instrument collection. You can also observe the Earth through the digital laser projector of the Peter Harrison Planetarium.
