The Snowdon Mountain Railway (1896) is the only rack railway of its type in Great Britain, taking you to the highest summit in Wales (1 085m). At the top, on a clear day, the beautiful panoramic view stretches to the island of Anglesey, the Isle of Man, and the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland.
