Useful information

Description

A succession of massive brick warehouses surrounds a 3ha expanse of water. Completed in 1846, the year in which free trade was instated, then closed for good in 1972, the docks have been given a new lease of life thanks to shops, cafés and housing being set up here, as well as a maritime museum, the outpost of the Tate Gallery and The Beatles Story.
