Macau Scientific and Cultural Centre Museum
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
The ground floor of the museum traces in a lively fashion the extraordinary history of contact between Portugal and Macao, the former Potuguese colony in China. On the first floor are fine ceramics, terracotta, stoneware and Chinese porcelain, a selection of opium smokers' accoutrements, and an amazing array of Chinese artworks for the Western market; lacquer ware, fans, pictures, crockery and ivory objects. Good collection of Chinese coins through history.
