Amalia Rodrigues House Museum
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Two years after the death of the queen of fado Amália Rodrigues (1920-1999) and a few days after the transfer of her remains to the National Pantheon, her house opened as a museum in keeping with her wishes. Paintings, musical instruments, awards and decorations, costumes, jewellery, etc, leave the visitor with the impression that the diva might still be in residence. In the dining room, the table remains laid out for a dinner party.
