The Michelin Guide's review
Set in a landscaped tropical garden planted with palm trees, this elegant 1900 folly is the venue of one of Peru's finest colonial art museums. Among the extensive collection of art work curated by the Pedro de Osma family, some pieces are of particular interest to historians, such as the Genealogía de los Incas. Also worthy of note are the numerous paintings of archangels, typical of the Cuzco School, sumptuous liturgical objects in chiselled gold and silver, fabric, furniture and many other treasures.
