The Michelin Guide's review
Built in 1927 by Émile Dubuisson, this huge building blends Flemish architecture and concrete modernity. It is organised around a long gallery with an Art Nouveau and Art Deco decor, and houses a rich contemporary art collection spread throughout. It is dominated by the highest belfry in the region (104m), at the foot of which are Lille's two giants, Lydéric and Phinaert. It's hard work climbing to the top, but the 360° view is superb.
