Ostriconi Valley
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
On the borders of the Balagne, Nebbio and the Agriates, the Ostriconi Valley is a fertile region that bears vestiges of intensive farming for the olive industry. The remnants of mills and olive groves, since returned to a wild state, add an extra attraction to the walks that criss-cross the valley starting from Lama. The administrative centre of the region, this village has restored its old districts, meaning hikers and fans of green tourism will enjoy their stay all the more.
