The Michelin Guide's review
Situated in the middle of the former Jewish neighbourhood, this building boasts a Gothic bell-tower and an Italian Renaissance Pavilion forming the porch. The names of the surrounding streets (Jugengasse, Salomonsgasse) bear witness to the existence of the Jewish ghetto that was burned down during a pogrom in 1349. Only the Mikwe (1170) with its green pyramid was spared. It is a building reserved for ritual bathing.
