Choueke House
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Choueke House is named after its owner, a Syrian business man from Aleppo. Built in the style of an English manor house with green and white woodwork and flanked by a delightful Japanese garden, it was designed by English architect A.N. Hansen in 1896. Mr Choueke's personal art collection includes oriental ceramics and decorative objects, Korean painting, 17-19C prints, screens and work by modern Japanese artists.
