The Michelin Guide's review
The Baroque episcopal palace dates from the late 18C. The façade overlooking the square is symmetrical and solid; an avant-corps topped by a pediment frames the entrance gate. On the opposite side, the building's fine architectural structure faces onto a large park. The library houses 120 000 precious works, including a Bible which belonged to Martin Luther. The frescoes on the first floor are by Franz Anton Maulbertsch, an Austrian artist who decorated many religious buildings in Hungary.
