The Michelin Guide's review
Overlooking the village, the castle fortress stands on the banks of San Cristóbal, probably the former site of the Roman town of Oba. The current building, of Moslem origin, dates back to the 13C. You enter by the double archway on the large flanking tower which was once the watchtower. The esplanade on the hillside contains the village cemetery and the wall of the castle overlooked by the large keep.
