Ezra Cornell, who made his fortune in the telegraph business, donated 120ha and a generous endowment to found Cornell University. Today, over 100 disciplines are taught on this 300ha campus. Enjoying a lovely location above Cayuga Lake, it encompasses Sage Chapel, where Ezra Cornell is buried, and Old Stone Row, the oldest building on campus.
