Located for the most part to the north of Ica, the wine bodegas, artisanal cellars and small vineyards, make pisco according to traditional methods in old copper stills. Most also have a shop where you can taste and buy the produce. The best time to visit the cellars is of course during the harvest, between February and April. To get there, negotiate a return journey with a taxi cab or enquire at a travel agency.
