Jockey Club Creative Arts Center
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
After the fire that destroyed the shantytowns of Shek Kip Mei in 1953, the town authorities hastily erected a whole village of brightly coloured, if inadequate, buildings. The inhabitants are nonetheless fond of this lively neighbourhood. It has the peculiarity of housing the Jockey Club Creative Art Centre in a disused factory, which is home to over 150 designers. The G.O.D. design studio set up a concept store here, halfway between a museum of popular culture and a shop.
