The Michelin Guide's review
Restoration work has given Tay Ho Temple a modern air which contrasts with the ancient banyan tree nearby. Crowds of locals come to the temple on the first and fifteenth days of the lunar month, bringing a bustling air of activity to the temple and courtyard. They come here to venerate the Mother Goddess who sits, decorated in gold and red, in the main room of the temple. The nearby chapel houses a number of Buddhist gods, including Quan Am, the goddess of mercy.
