The Michelin Guide's review
In an imposing neo-Renaissance building (1905), the museum exhibits collections of Bronze and Iron Age objects discovered in the forest of Haguenau and the site of Seltz: jewellery, weapons and ceramics. It charts the history of the town up until the 20C through substantial holdings of Roman objects, medieval sculptures, Alsace coins and medals and the ceramic collections of the Hannong family who owned a factory in Haguenau.
