Santa Ana District
Michelin Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Start your exploration of this area to the east of the historic town at calle Ancha. Calle Tarrago and calle Mateos, then calle Mira de Anezcua on the right lead you to calle Santa Ana. Here, you are in the heart of the old Moorish quarter. All along the narrow streets, from the white houses come the smells of cooking and Andalusian flowers. The church, Santa Anna, built in the 15C on the site of a mosque, stands in the centre; in front of the façade is a Renaissance fountain (1567).
