The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
It is set up in the casa Castril (1539), a Renaissance palace with an attractive plateresque door, decorated with a profusion of heraldic symbols, St James' scallop shells, sculpted people etc. It has a remarkable collection of sculpted alabaster vases from the 9C BC from Egypt found at Almuñécar in a Punic necropolis, a bull from Arjona and many Roman remains and examples of arab decorative art.
