Jeruzalemstraat
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
The Jeruzalemkapel (16C) occupies the corner of the Patersteeg and bears a resemblance to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. On the opposite corner, note the former orphanage (the Weeshuis, 17C), now a library, with its façade of gables and volutes, and, next door, a gateway crowned with a low-relief representing two orphans. On the opposite sidewalk, at n° 2, a gate (1614) modified in the 18C leads to a hospice for the elderly (the Oude Mannenhuis).
