The Michelin Guide's review
The Florida Museum of Natural History houses the largest research collection of fossils, invertebrates, vertebrates and plants of the southern U.S. Devoted to the natural history of Florida and the Caribbean, exhibits explore the different ecosystems such as that of a coral reef or a savanna. A butterfly garden, a full-scale limestone grotto, skeletons, rocks, minerals, fossils and even prehistoric local flora samples complete the tour.
