The Michelin Guide's review
What is commonly referred to as Cerro Torre is in fact composed of four sharp peaks: the actual Cerro Torre, which is the highest (3 102m), Torre Egger, Punta Herron and Cerro Standhart. Like Fitz Roy, this summit is considered one of the hardest, if not the hardest, to climb in the world. The so-called "historical" way, by the west face, was opened on 13 January 1974.
