The Green Guide

Photographs and manuscripts retrace the life of the founders of the Irish Volunteers (1913), Patrick and William Pearse. They were executed in 1916 for having played a leading role in the Easter Rising. The museum is located in a 1797 residence, which they acquired in 1910 for their boys' school. The syllabus reflected their desire to encourage the development of children without burdening them with examinations and to promote Irish culture.
