The Michelin Guide's Opinion
Millmount, on the south bank of the Boyne, is a Bronze Age passage grave, turned into a watchtower, a feudal mound and finally a fort. From the highest spot, there is a fine view of the city centre and the railway viaduct, which was built across the estuary in 1855.
