The Michelin Guide's review
This is one of the city's oldest and most characteristic streets. At no. 52-56, Hôtel Morel-Sauvegrain, which once belonged to Charles the Bold's wet nurse, has a 15C façade. At no. 40, the classical doorway of Hôtel Aubriot contrasts with the elegant 13C arcaded façade. At no. 38, Maison Maillard (also called Milsand) is depicted by a splendidly ornate façade. At no. 34, the 15C Hôtel Chambellan is a handsome and surprising example of civil architecture and bears witness to its owners' wealth.
