The Michelin Guide's review
Christ the King Church is a striking building built in 1931 to a design by Barry Byrne, an Irish-American architect who lived in Chicago, and his partner, J. R. Boyd Barrett. The interior is unornamented but the facade is decorated with a cubist-style sculpture of Christ by the American artist, John Storrs. A magnificent view of the city is visible from the front of the church.
