The Michelin Guide's review
The elegant white-marble columns, the last vestiges of this 1C temple, seem overwhelmed by the modern buildings surrounding them. The cannelated columns are each crowned with a Corinthian capital; excavations suggest that the temple, which stood on a podium, would have had a front portico and ten columns on each side. Looking at these remains, you can well imagine the splendour of Córdoba in Roman times.
