The Michelin Guide's Opinion
Conwy's medieval ramparts are magnificent. 11m high and 2m thick, they enclose the town on three sides and boast 22 towers and 3 gateways. In the High Street you can admire Plas Mawr, a superb mansion built in 1577. Nor should you miss Aberconwy House, a 14C medieval town house. In Lancaster Square, at the end of the street, stands the colourful statue of Llywelyn the Great.
