Musée Bargoin
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Built in the early 20C thanks to a legacy left by Jean-Baptise Bargoin, a local pharmacist, this museum houses major collections of archaeological finds and textile arts. The archaeology collection is made up from digs in the Puy-de-Dôme département and highlights important pieces such as the Manson Treasure. Temporary exhibitions of textiles include pieces from outside of Europe (clothing, carpets, cultural objects etc) from the 18C-21C.
