Description

The museum is devoted to the history of Chester, with a particular emphasis on the Roman period. It also contains an interesting collection of coins, minted in Chester during Saxon and Norman times and during the Civil War. Scenes of everyday life are portrayed via the reconstruction of a Georgian house with several floors.
