The Michelin Guide's review
A masterpiece by Jean Aubert, the Great Stables are Chantilly's most noble monument from the 18C. Their most attractive façade is the one giving onto the lawn, from where you will be able to fully take in the grandiose appearance, the balance in the arrangement of the arcaded building and also its size (186m long). During the time of the Princes of Condé, 100 members of staff were required to look after 240 horses and 500 dogs.
