The collections of Ursino castle mainly feature works by southern artists, from the 15C to the 19C. You will thus find the triptych of the Virgin in majesty, Saint Anthony and Saint Francis by Antonello de Saliba. Several works depicting women are on display by Michel Rapisardi, leading figure of Catania in the 19C. In the courtyard, graffiti by prisoners bear witness to the castle's vocation as a prison between the 16C and 19C.
