The Michelin Guide's review
The San Baudelio de Berlanga hermitage is an isolated 11C Mozarabic chapel with one very unusual feature: in the centre of the square nave stands a massive pillar from which eight ribs fan upwards in the shape of a palm tree. The gallery, which is supported by a double tier of arches, was completely covered with frescoes in the 12C, in keeping with the rest of the building.
