Peasant Movement Training Institute
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Founded in 1924, the Peasant Movement Training Institute is housed in the buildings of a 14C Confucian temple. It was home to 800 pupils for only six semesters and had three famous teachers, one of whom was Mao Zedong. In 1927, the Guomindang closed the school following the insurrection of Guangzhou. The living quarters have remained as they were, while the permanent exhibition (uniforms, flags, photos etc) is dedicated to the revolution.
