The 12C Romanesque Iglesia de Santa María is fronted by an attractive façade. Windows in the buttress chapels on each side of the church are framed by an Arab-influenced multifoil arch. In keeping with many churches along the Way of St James, the choir is surrounded by an ambulatory with five radiating chapels.
