The Michelin Guide's review
Built between 1533-38 for a rich merchant, the Hôtel d'Escoville is characteristic of the first Renaissance. Restored after the bombardments of 1944, the edifice today houses the Tourist Office. Behind an austere facade, the courtyard is elegantly appointed with majestic sculptures.
