This museum charts the settlement of humans in the Sinis peninsula from Prehistory to the Middle Ages using the results of digs from the sites of Cuccuru is Arrius (Nuragic), Tharros (Phoenician) and materials found in the wreck of a Roman ship (1C BCE). The museum also displays 38 giant Nuragic statues (9-8C BCE) found at Mont'e Prama.
