Shepherds' Museum
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
The Pásztormúzeum resembles the temporary villages that shepherds used to build in the puszta in days gone by. Made up of huts covered with reeds, these villages provided shelter to shepherds, horse-herders (csikós) and cattlemen (gulyás). The museum exhibits tools linked to these traditional activities and everyday objects made by these men. There's also a slide show on the flora and fauna of the region.
