"Capital" Streets District
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
It is pleasant to stroll through the smart district lying either side of Strada Paris, to admire its neo-Romanian and neo-Gothic luxury villas, built by Bucharest's rich in the 1920s and 1930s. Some now house museums, giving visitors the chance to admire their interiors. A sense of disorientation is understandable among these streets named as they are after world capitals, such as Strada Washington.
