The Michelin Guide's review
This church, with a congregation made up of the Polish community, stands on the edge of Les Marolles working-class district. The transept (13C) is in unadulterated Romanesque style, but it is the Brabantine Gothic art that dominates most of the building. The interior houses several funerary monuments, including the memorial of Pieter Bruegel and his wife. There is a stark contrast between the darkness of the chancel and the brightly lit nave.
