Belgian Comic Strip Centre
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
This centre is housed in the magnificent Art Nouveau building designed by Victor Horta in 1903 for the Waucquez textile house. Here, visitors can learn all about the creation of comic strips, as well as admiring original drawings by famous artists. The ground floor is home to a specialised bookshop, a library, the largest comic library in the world, and an attractive bistro serving some of the dishes enjoyed by cartoon-character Gaston Lagaffe.
