The museum is housed in the Old Civic Registry (Oude Griffie) of Justice of the Peace. The lovely Renaissance façade of this building will please art fans with its harmonious lines, three pretty scrolled gables and appealing palette of colours. In the 16C alderman's chamber there is a magnificent chimney.
