Bologna National Art Gallery
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
The national picture gallery showcases work from the 13-18C, most of which from the Bologna school, of which the highlights are Vitale da Bologna's Saint George and the dragon and Giotto's Madonna with child on the throne. The Renaissance section boasts Perugino's Madonna with child enthroned and Raphael's Saint Cecily. One room is devoted to masterpieces by Carrachi and another to Guido Reni.
